How do consumers pay for premium services?
D2see provides a variety of billing options, including:

Embedded billing. The service is accessed via a 5-digit video shortcode charged to the consumer’s mobile bill at between 50p and £5.00 / minute, generating an outpayment to the content provider. Some operators support a ‘drop charge’ for a single call charge irrespective of service duration.

Separate mobile billing. The consumer is charged per minute or per transaction via either premium SMS, generating an outpayment to the content owner. This model is most appropriate for services where the consumer has clicked on a WAP link, or sent an SMS, triggering the Oxygen platform to initiate a video call back.

Off-mobile billing. D2see’s billing APIs enable the content owner to implement a wide range of billing options. For example, the cost of the service could be included in a website subscription or charged to a credit card. Contact us to understand how we can help you with this.
How are content providers paid?

When the consumer pays a premium rate for a service the mobile network operators pay D2see a revenue share, which is paid to the content provider less D2see’s service charge.
